Michelle Boor — Artistic Director & Founder of Micky Paris
Michelle Boor, Artistic Director and founder of Micky Paris, has built a universe around an iconic piece in a wardrobe— the shirt.
Her vision is inspired by the Mediterranean spirit of the South of FRance and Italian coast, and a specifid idea of effortless chic — timeless, feminine, and refined. Each piece reflects her belief in authentic luxury, rooted in a lifestyle shaped by enduring beauty and quiet sophistication.
After more than two decades in Paris, Michelle’s journey has always been guided by a love of elegance, simplicity, and detail. A graduate of F.I.T. in New York, where she earned honors and multiple design awards, she began her career in New York before her passion for Paris drew her to the world of French luxury at Guy Laroche. Prior to that, she had created for Christian Francis Roth and served as Head Designer at Theory under Andrew Rosen.
Working across Paris, Italy, and New York, Michelle shaped collections and pieces featured in Vogue, L’Officiel, and W, cultivating a distinctive voice — one of modern luxury, natural simplicity, and effortless wearability.
What began as an instinctive fascination with the noble craft of men’s bespoke shirts evolved into a vision: to create a bespoke shirt for women — combining the precision and craftsmanship of traditional tailoring with a distinctly feminine sensibility. Guided by her philosophy that “simplicity reigns,” Michelle reimagines the shirt as a symbol of l’art de vivre — an expression of refined ease and everyday elegance.
In 2020, Micky Paris was born. Under the mentorship of Parisian bespoke master Daniel Lévy, Michelle perfected the traditional art of made-to-measure. Today, she offers her clients luxury, chic simplicity, and timeless allure — a man’s shirt for women, crafted not just as a garment, but as an invitation to live beautifully.
